Want To Work At Sonic Wrecks? We’ve Spots Available

Everything moves on, time and tide wait for no man. Too many crows spoil the cook, etc.  As such both TitansCreed and TallGuy have sadly decided to move on from SW which leaves staff spots up for grabs.

We’re looking for a strong individual, willing and able to make their own little niche for themselves not only on SW but in the community in general.  Already write somewhere else? No problem at all. We just want drive and dedication to the cause.

Do you have a strong passion for Sonic and/or SEGA?

Are you looking to possibly get a start in writing for a gaming site?

Can you be counted on to report on the news as it happens?

Can you take direction and act without it on your own initiative?

Would you be interested in a spot on the SW team?

If you’d be interested, leave a comment below and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

  1. I would like to apply for this job as I have been a fan of the blue blur for many years now and I find great enjoyment in the games he has starred in and as well as the amazing musicians who have provided the soundtracks for his games. I am looking to get a career in the videogames industry when I finish my college course and then go onto university after that so I feel this will be a good place to start. I am extremely skilled with all word processing applications on a computer so I will be able to add that extra something to the reports I will write for SW.

  2. I’d love to give this a shot! I’m hoping to start a career in Games Journalism or Community-based work after my University course is over, and Sonic Wrecks would be an amazing way to kick-start that!

  3. I’ve been a fan of Sonic The Hegehog since i could remember playing the first game and watching the T.V. shows. I have also been wanting to be a part of the gaming industry. So maybe writing a column or two for a fansite might get that ball rolling. I keep up to date with the latest news about the blue blur and SEGA.

  4. Good luck to TitansCreed with whatever he does next!

I’m very interested in writing for Wrecks. It would be a great opportunity to get more active within the community as well as contributing to a top site. I tend to find news just as it pops up, about Sonic and SEGA related things, as I have a passion for them both.

So whenever news does pop up, I’ll be ready for it, hopefully adding my own little spark to Wrecks during it, as other new writers have done before.

  7. I would be most interested in taking up a position.

I’ve been pretty much all over the community in the past 10 years. I ran a couple of sites for a period of 3-5 years with great success as well as 2 years as a DJ for Sega Sonic Radio. I am usually up to speed on latest media happenings, checking up on the latest news regularly on a daily basis.
I’m prominently in the Sonic and Phantasy Star community, as well as currently working for Sonic the Comic Online, but also take interest in other areas of Sega.

Any skills you may find helpful include Graphic and Web Design, and Video Editing.

Any consideration as to a position would be greatly appreciated, and I would also like to say thank you for giving us all the opportunity, as well as good luck to TitansCreed and TallGuy in there future endeavours!

  10. I’d love to write for Sonic Wrecks. Though I don’t think my current work schedule would allow me the time it would take to give it my best. Maybe someday.

  12. I would be very interested in helping out any community based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. I’m 26 years old and have wrote for blogging sites for at least 7 years. My google-fu is pretty strong and I do like a bit of humor when I write articles.

I think this would be a great way for me to do my part for not just the Sonic community but also any community that does this out of their own sheer willpower and determination for others to appreciate and acknowledge the things that they love.
