SEGAbits Announces Sonic & SEGA Fan Jam 2015

We’ve some news from one of old friends at SEGAbits to share with you today. They can put if far better than I can, so check out their story below.

“Last year in November, we at SEGAbits hosted our very own SEGA fan gathering con event called Sonic & SEGA Fan Jam 2014 with the awesome help of The Guild Hall of Savannah for providing us the venue space. It was a great experience to host a con event to celebrate SEGA’s video games ranging from classic to newer releases for attendees to play to support the company, showcasing SEGA fan films from talented filmmakers and animators, and lastly the special guest appearances of talented artist, Tracy Yardley & Matt M. of Tails Channel!

This year, we are happily to announce the launch of Sonic & SEGA Fan Jam 2015 website with the event coming this Fall and like any sequel in the media, we aim to make it bigger for everyone in the southern eastern coast area in the US with more games, activities, special guests from the SEGA community. We’ve even worked on developing a website and Facebook page for the event to keep you guys up to date on news and special guest appearances. In the next coming months, we will be announcing special guests, ticket prices, and many more to come.

However, in order to make the convention bigger this year and the near future, we’ve made a donation page for Fan Jam 2015 on GoGetFunding to cover the expenses on the event and special guests. It’s only $1 to donate with a Paypal account and we’re also planning on updating the page with reward giveaways to people who’ve donated certain amount of money in the next coming months.

Donators can also contribute SEGA consoles and games for the event for attendees to play. Just send just your name and and contact us through segabits@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.”

Gamer, scholar, gentleman & fountain of useless trivia, LMC's boss-man extraordinaire is also a super-awesome Community Manager who has worked on projects for SEGA, Square Enix, Konami, Capcom and more. Once co-created and hosted an international fan-convention because he can do that sort of thing.
