SEGA Porting More Mega Drive/Master System Titles To VC & PSN

It’s been proven to work so it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise that SEGA are going to continue to port titles from the Mega Drive’s vast library over to consoles and PC – this time however there will be some Master System love coming your way as well.

The SEGA Europe blog has confirmed that additions to the Vintage Collection (er, haven’t we already had a “Vintage Collection”?) will be heading to PSN and Virtual Console from late 2011 to early 2012.

The titles listed are:

  • Monster World IV (Genesis/Mega Drive) – this is fully localised and a first time release for the West according to the blog.
  • Wonder Boy in Monster Land (Arcade)
  • Revenge of Shinobi (Genesis/Mega Drive)
  • Alex Kidd in Miracle World (Master System)
  • Wonder Boy in Monster World (Genesis/Mega Drive)

So if you like “worlds” or “monsters” you’re basically in for the time of your life.
