Sonic may fit well in the land of plumbers and Pokemon but he wasn’t the only thing to be announced for the Wii U on Nintendo Direct the other day. The previously Playstation-only Yakuza (or Ryu ga Gotoku in Japan) franchise announced a departure from its traditional home to bring the first two games in the series to Nintendo’s console. A somewhat surprising move and one which rather uses opposite logic to that displayed by the Sonic decision.
A trailer has come out today which shows off the first two games and also the functionality the Wii U’s gamepad will bring to the upgraded port. You can check this out below.
