11 Minutes Of New Bentley Jones Album “Upgrade 1.0”

That Bentley Jones has been a busy boy in recent months with a handful of projects and recording in Los Angeles and Tokyo as well as his usual workload remixing under the PHUNKST★R handle. Still, most of this has been for work has been for this on his upcoming third album release Upgrade 1.0.

Though no longer associated with SEGA he’s still got plenty of fans in the community, so this new sampler for the fifteen track album should be right up your street. There’s a little dose of familiarity to begin with in a new mix of the awesome Down In Tokyo, songs involving Curtis Young and J-Pop star May J and even a track based around Bach’s classical masterpiece Toccata and Fugue.

The album is released on October 24th with Japanese fans in for a treat as a bonus disc package is available at participating HMV and Tower records stores over there.

BentleyJones.com is reporting however there will be a pre-order available soon for a limited time for “UPGRADE: The Complete UPGRADE Limited Edition” that contains a bonus CD, DVD and signed album artwork.
